"Far is near"

​Professor Arcadie Raileanu graduated the Sciusev Art School in Chisinau, Moldova. He has spent his entire life teaching, practicing and studying painting, composition, art history and sculpture. In 1978 he became the architect of Floresti County in Moldova. Three years later he became the director of the Donduseni Art School for Children. 

In 1989 Arcadie Raileanu moved to Piatra Neamt, Romania and became a member of the Artists Union of Romania. Starting from 2006 he became the coordinator of the painting class of the Art School of Carmen Saeculare Cultural and Art Center in Neamt. Since then, he has given the tools for a strong career to numerous renowned Romanian artists such as Viorica Ciucanu, Michaela Surugiu and many others. 

Arcadie Raileanu is a colourist by nature with a unique style and method of abstract and landscape painting, represented in permanent collections of Romanian art museums and numerous exhibitions in Romania and abroad.
